Claude Kitto Award

This award is given each year to the club member who has shown great improvement and quality in this current year's artwork, in both Imagination and Creativity.

Individual members are encouraged to bring along a portfolio of work that they have created throughout the current year, whilst either at the Club premises or at the Club's summer Plein Air sessions.

Award donated by Claude Kitto's widow. Claude Kitto was a well respected Westcountry watercolourist.

2023 Winner:

Monica Elliott

Congratulations go to Monica, repeating her performance of 2013 by winning the coveted Claude Kitto Award for the second time. The members judged her stunning portfolio of loose watercolour works to have shown a consistency of creativity and imagination over the last 12 months of meetings.
