Plymouth Arts Club welcomes new members who have acquired the basic skills and wish to develop them further. If you would like to join us please contact us and we will get back to you.

Annual membership  

1st October Annually £25.00

Session fee

Wednesday evenings: £7  (unless otherwise stipulated)

There is no charge for the outdoor meetings. Members to make their own arrangements with regard to meeting up with fellow club members.

Please try and arrive early to give yourself enough time to set yourself up since we start on the hour. 

To comply with Health & Safety requirements we have to have everyone’s name, so please be sure to sign-in on arrival.

Location

The sessions are held at the The Church of the Ascension’s church hall at The Lawns, Tavistock Road PL5 3AA (accessed via St Peters Road turnoff on Manadon roundabout).  Click to see map

Mediums

With the exception of some demonstrations and workshops, members are encouraged to draw/paint using whatever medium they wish, i.e. mixed-media, oil, acrylic, watercolour, gouache, pastels, charcoal etc

Members are expected to bring their own art materials to all sessions. 

Easels, tables and sink facilities are available for club members' use during the sessions.

We do not allow the use of iPads, cameras, and any equipment that could be used to capture and store an image of the model during life drawing sessions.

Please note that the Plymouth Arts Club is essentially a club for people that like to paint/draw without instruction (unless the session is a demonstration/workshop).
