PLEASE ARRIVE AT 6.45pm TO ALLOW TIME FOR SET-UP & PAYING SUBS
The club’s programme is not restricted to term times, so there are no breaks at half term etc, and the structure of the programme will be in a 6 week format.
Please note: only bona fide members and guests permitted to Life Drawing sessions, and no cameras or other digital recording equipment permitted in the studio.

21st Jan – Workshop (Member led) - Cartoons
Mark Hannon - A workshop covering illustrative techniques
(eg line work and solid shading) used to create cartoons.
28th Jan – Life Drawing (Nude) – Georgette
4th Feb – Still Life - Candle light
Sharon- A candlelit still life is an opportunity to use a single light source to create strong contrast and atmosphere and dramatic differences between light and dark. Shadows become an important part of the composition, with the warm glow of the candle adding mood.

22nd Apr – Workshop (Member led)- 'Negative Space'
Bob - A collection of small tables and some chairs will be set up, covered with lining paper. Paper will be randomly removed to reveal the spaces. We should end up with a positive image of the tables and chairs. It will emphasise that negative spaces are just as important as the resultant positive image. Bring along a large sheet of paper and one colour (any medium) paint. Preferably a large brush.
